TOURNAMENT RULES PADEL WORLD PLAY 500

1. Participants

• The tournament will have a total of 16 pairs.
• The pairs will be divided into 4 groups, with 4 pairs in each group.

1. Group Stage (Zones)

• Each group will play a total of 6 games.
• Each game will be one set of 6 games, without advantage, using the golden point rule.
• In case of a 6-6 tie in a set, a tiebreak to 7 points will be played to determine the winner.

1. Zone Rankings

• The first and second place from each zone will advance.

1. Round of 16

• The qualified teams will play the round of 16.
• Round of 16 matches will be played to 6 games, following the same rules as in the group stage.

1. Quarterfinals

• The winners of the round of 16 will advance to the quarterfinals.
• Quarterfinal matches will be played to 6 games, following the same rules as in the group stage.

1. Semifinals

• The winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals.
• At this stage, the gameplay methodology changes.
• Matches will be played the best of 2 complete sets.
• In case of a one-set tie, a tiebreak to 7 points will be played to determine the winner.

1. Final and 3rd and 4th Place Match

• The winners of the semifinals will advance to the final.
• The losers of the semifinals will play for 3rd and 4th place.
• Both the final and the 3rd and 4th place match will be played the best of 2 complete sets.

1. Determination of Winners

• The team winning the final is crowned as the 1st place in the tournament.
• In the 3rd and 4th place match, the winning team takes the 3rd place, and the losing team takes the 4th place.
